Traverse City West is taking us all the way back to the year 1899 and these students are putting their heart and soul into their production of “Newsies.”
“What I really love about performing is the energy and being able to craft an energy that the audience is able to really feel and that’s the exciting part about live theater compared to film or other types of media,” says Jack Rusinowski, a junior at TC West.
The theater department has been putting in countless hours each day to see this production come to life. Rusinowski shares, “Newsies is a very energetic and fun musical about the community of these guys that are out trying to make a dollar and scrape by.”
