Charlotte Russe Closing All Stores

Charlotte Russe will close all of its stores and is in talks to sell its property.

The young women’s clothing chain says it is talking with a buyer interested in keeping the brand alive in brick and mortar form.

A judge approved the sale of Charlotte Russe’s assets to a liquidation company on Wednesday.

Going out of business sales are expected to begin Thursday and last no later than April 30.

The retailer’s online store has already closed.

Charlotte Russe filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy last month, citing poor sales and too much debt.
