Subaru Recalls 1.3 Million Vehicles, Faulty Brake Lights

Subaru recalled 1.3 million vehicles because of problems with the brake lights.

The company says the brake lights may not light up properly.

This recall covers certain 2014-2016 Forester, 2008-2016 Impreza and 2013-2017 Crosstrek vehicles.

Subaru says cleaning products with silicone can leak gas.

If that gas seeps into the brake lamp switch it will cut off the electrical contact.

The automaker says the problem does not happen very often and only has 33 reports in the United States.
