UPDATE: Otsego County Roads Back Open, Travel Still Not Advised

Otsego County declared a state of emergency Sunday night, closing every road in the county, including I-75 throughout the entire county.

A portion near the airport remains closed.

Plows are now making their way around the area to clean up surrounding roads.

Almost all the roads are now back open, but the area saw around 6 inches of fresh snow, and wind gusts near 60 miles per hour, leaving quite a mess.

It was so bad Sunday night an ambulance got stuck in the huge snow drifts while responding to a call.

Even though most roads are now back open, it doesn’t mean driving in this mess is easy.

Road conditions are still very poor.

First responders are still urging people to stay home and off the roads.
