Calling on some creative minds, the Huron-Manistee National Forests are now accepting entries for the 2019 Kirtland’s Warbler Young Artists Contest.
The contest is open to students in grades K-8.
They’re looking for original artwork that shows an understanding of the rare Kirtland warbler and its habitat.
All submissions should be in color, horizontally-oriented, and completely fill one side of an 8.5 by 11 inch sheet of white paper.
Entries must be sent in by March 20.
