Snow and horse drawn sleighs go together like marshmallows and hot chocolate.

Treetops Resort in Gaylord has both of those, plus plenty of other unique winter experiences and warm, toasty adult beverages.

Director of Food and Beverage Scott Rutter says Hunter’s Grille, one of the resort’s restaurants, has a few opportunities for patrons to get a special experience with their meals.

You get onto a sleigh, you go about three and a half to four miles of an adventure…you get dropped off in the middle of nowhere with tons of snow, a horse drawn sleigh and you have a five course meal of some of the best offerings we have.”

Reservations are strongly encouraged. Book it now by heading to

“It is such a unique cool experience, and very limited number of people can go,” Rutter says. “It is kind of intimate, meet your neighbor and have a good time with everybody.”
