General Motors Investing $36M into Delta Township Plant

General Motors announced Monday it’s bringing a big investment to the Lansing area.

The auto company is pumping $36 million into its Delta Township plant.

They say it’s to prepare for future production of crossover vehicles.

The plant currently builds the Chevrolet Traverse and Buick Enclave SUVs.

GM’s CEO says those vehicles are important products in their growing line of crossovers.

Governor Whitmer calls the investment “incredible news” for Lansing autoworkers, their families and the greater Lansing community.
