‘Don’t Quit’ 3 Michigan Schools to Win New Fitness Center

New research shows nearly 16 percent of children ages 10 to 17 are now considered obese.

Now there is a chance to help three Michigan schools each win a brand new “Don’t Quit” fitness center.

The $100,000 centers are a part of the National Foundation for Governors’ Fitness Councils 2019 “Don’t Quit!” fitness campaign.

The winning schools must each demonstrate leadership in getting and keeping their students fit.

You can nominate your school today by filling out a short application and written essay or short video about the school you choose at natgovfit.org here.

The contest runs through March 22.
