Cannonball! Mt Pleasant Takes on Polar Plunge

A chillier dip than usual for Polar Plungers in Mount Pleasant this weekend.

Hundreds of jumpers took the plunge outside of O’Kelly’s and The Wayside to help raise more than $65,000 for Special Olympics Michigan.

More than 11 more polar plunges are still happening between now and the beginning of March.

The plunges are located all across the state from The Big House to Manistee and Sault Ste. Marie.

The annual Michigan Law Enforcement Torch Run Polar Plunge series raises more than $1 million for Special Olympics Michigan each year.
