Barley, BBQ & Beats: A Summer Bash for Hospice of Michigan

Barley, barbecue and beats sounds like the embodiment of summer.

Which is why Hospice of Michigan is rolling all three into one, glorious event on May 17 at The Wex in Cadillac.

This fundraiser, Barley, BBQ & Beats, features locally popular pit barbecue joints like Primos BBQ and The Grilling Company.

But if you can tell by the event’s name, its savory goodness doesn’t stop with food.

Five area distilleries like Iron Fish will also be there to quench your thirst, and two local music groups—The Luke Winslow King Trio and 1000 Watt Prophets—will be there to help keep the fun times rolling.

And all of the proceeds will go to help Hospice of Michigan in it’s mission to provide comfort and peace for patients and their loved ones.

Tickets are $40 pre-sale and $45 at the door. This grants you tokens for three servings of barbecue and three hand-crafted cocktails from local distilleries.

Extra tokens will be available for purchase for $5 each.
