Governor Gretchen Whitmer Set to Make First State of the State Address

The snow is not stopping Governor Gretchen Whitmer from making her first State of the State address.

Governor Whitmer is expected to focus on key items she is calling Michigan’s fundamentals like the roads, drinking water and workforce.

A detailed proposal on the roads will likely wait until she lays out her budget in March.

Northern Michigan’s News Leader will bring you complete coverage of the State of the State address on Tuesday.

9&10’s Eric Lloyd will be there to bring you live previews throughout the day, along with a recap on 9&10 News at 11 p.m.

You can also watch it live tonight at 7 p.m. on our sister station Local 32 or you can Livestream the speech.
