Connecticut Woman Seriously Injured in Upper Peninsula Snowmobile Crash
A Connecticut woman is seriously injured after hitting a tree after a snowmobile crash in the Upper Peninsula.
The Chippewa County Sheriff’s Office says the crash happened just before 2 p.m. in Strongs in Chippewa County.
The woman had left the trail on the sled, fell off and hit a tree.
She had been taken out of the wooded area on a rescue sled.
The sheriff’s office says she has life-threatening injuries to her chest area.
