MSP Cruiser Hit Twice in Detroit

Snow down in Detroit Sunday night played a role in crash where a state police cruiser got hit twice.

State police say the trooper stopped on I-75 to investigate an unoccupied car that was blocking some lanes.

Before the trooper could get out of the car, an SUV side swiped the cruiser on the passenger side.

Moments later, the patrol car got side swiped again by another SUV on the passenger side.

The trooper was the only one taken to the hospital and will be O.K.

State police are reminding everyone to slow down when it’s snowy out and stay focused on the road.
