CMU Baseball Player Skates On Ice Covered Field at Theunissen Stadium
Central Michigan baseball’s season opener is just a short time away.
With all the snow and ice we’ve seen lately, CMU’s baseball field isn’t quite ready to play on.
But that didn’t stop one Chippewa from getting his reps in over the weekend.
Sophomore Chase Rollin tweeted out a video of him lacing up his skates and heading out to an ice covered Keilitz Field at Theunissen Stadium.
The tweet has gained some nationwide attention with feedback ranging as far as the Colorado Rockies to right here with the Detroit Tigers.
Winter doesn’t stop baseball in Michigan.
