Habitat For Humanity, SpartanNash Raise Funds To Build Homes For Veterans
Next time you shop at your local Family Fare Supermarket you can help veterans in need.
The SpartanNash Foundation partnered with Habitat For Humanity in the Grand Traverse Region to host a retail scan campaign.
The Family Fare Supermarkets in Traverse City, Grawn and Kalkaska will have the option for customers to donate at the checkout line.
All of the proceeds will go to Habitat For Humanity in Traverse City.
“We’re building a home for a US navy veteran and his family…his wife and two young boys,”Austin Jenness, Communications Manager for Habitat For Humanity in the Grand Traverse region said. “So, the funds from this campaign will go to help us complete that home in Maple City.”
The last day to donate to this campaign is February 17.
