Adopt A Pet: Jersey, Ruth, and Blaze

It’s Adopt A Pet Tuesday on Michigan This Morning, today we have a few sheltered animals that are looking for a new home.

First up is Jersey.

She’s a cattle dog and shepherd mix.

Jersey has a good start on house training, and gets along with other dogs.

She’s playful, happy and also has some energy to burn, so an active owner would be good for her.

Jersey loves car rides, toys and people, if you’d like her to join your family, contact the AuSable Valley Animal Shelter.

Next we have a wonderful cat, Ruth.

She’s a domestic short hair mix.

Ruth is shy, but affectionate, she’ll sleep in your lap, but it might take a little bit to get her out of hiding.

She’ll do best in quiet home with a family that will be patient with her.

Ruth is at the Charlevoix Humane Society in Boyne City.

Another shy cat, Blaze.

He’s a domestic medium hair.

Blaze is a shy, but sweet boy looking for a forever home.

He’d do well in a home with other cats and or children.

Blaze is currently at the Mackinac County Animal Shelter in St. Ignace.
