Heavy Winter Storm to Hit Parts of Midwest

California is preparing for another day of wild weather after a week of mudslides, high winds, flooding and rock slides, all in the same area scorched by last year’s devastating wildfires.

People in Ventura County were evacuated as heavy rains pounded the area.

City officials set up sandbag locations in hopes to redirect storm water and debris away from homes.

In Malibu, a boulder weighing between two and three tons smashed in the metal of this car.

The powerful Pacific storm brought heavy snow to the mountain region, which led to a 25 car pileup.

For the second time this week, another powerful storm will hammer parts of the Midwest.

Then two more storms will make their way towards the Northeast this weekend, potentially bringing more than a foot of snow from northern Pennsylvania through New England.
