$5,000 Reward Offered for Information One Year After Suspected Lake Co. Homicide

It’s been one year since a woman died in a suspected homicide, found after a house fire in Lake County.

Now state police are still looking for tips to catch who’s responsible with a $5,000 reward on the table.

Evelyn Ware died Jan. 10, 2018. 

Her body was found under the rubble from the fire at her home on Lakola Road in Ellworth Township.

The medical examiner’s office ruled her death a homicide.

State police are still investigating her death.

They are asking anyone with information to contact them, even if it’s not first-hand knowledge of the crime.

A $5,000 reward will go to anyone with information that leads to an arrest.
