Adopt A Pet Tuesday: Jersey, Captain & Kahlua
It’s Adopt A Pet Tuesday on Michigan This Morning, and if you’re looking to had a pet to your family this year, look no further. We have three adoptable pets waiting for a family.
First up is Jersey.
She’s a beautiful cattle dog and shepherd mix.
Jersey has a very good start on her house training and seems to get along with other dogs.
She is a wonderful and unique dog, she’s playful and has some energy to burn, so will need an active owner.
Jersey loves car rides, toys and people.
She’s waiting for her new family as the AuSable Valley Animal Shelter in Grayling.
Next up is Captain!
A one-year-old longhair black cat who wasn’t too happy about relocating, but he’s learning to readjust quickly.
Captain is good with other cats but scared of dogs, especially big ones.
Captain is also good with children, as long as they’re respectful and give him some space.
To make Captain your new family pet, pick him up at the Little Traverse Base Humane Society in Harbor Springs.
Last but not least, Kahlua.
She’s a three-year-old tabby and American shorthair mix.
Kahlua is a sophisticated and affectionate cat who’s looking for a home that will provide both naps and attention.
She’s calm and doesn’t mind other cats, but she’s a bit wary of dogs.
She’s a classy girl who keeps herself well-groomed.
Kahlua wants a family that will pamper her.
If that sounds like you, you can pick her up at the AuSable Valley Animal Shelter in Grayling.
Tune in to MTM each Tuesday at 5:20 a.m. and 8:50 a.m. for more lovable Northern Michigan pets in search of families of their own!
