Munson Healthcare Opening ‘The Loft’ in Frankfort; Fitness Space for Kids

Munson Healthcare has a new way to help keep kids active in the New Year.

On January 10, they plan to open a new space in Frankfort.

It’s called “The Loft.”

It was made for kids and their families to come burn off some energy and play games.

The space was originally used as office space at the Betsie Hosick Health and Fitness Center.

After a survey of the community, they decided to turn it into The Loft.

It will also offer play-based fitness classes for kids.

“We know that movement can help kids focus and can help kids learn better and be better students so we hope to kind of play part of that role and at least provide some space and some programming where they can do some of that,” says community reach manager said.

The Paul Oliver Memorial Hospital auxiliary held the “Tri Up North Triathalon” in Frankfort back in September to raise money for the new space.
