Great Lake Children’s Museum Offer Fun Programs for Kids During Holiday Break
A Northern Michigan museum is offering up fun and interactive learning for your kids as they wrap up their holiday break.
The Great Lakes Children’s Museum in Traverse City is putting on science, technology, engineering, art and math, or STEAM, programs this week.
Kids will have a chance to explore the solar system on Wednesday.
Later in the week, they are able to try their hand at art projects related to the winter season.
These activities are included in admission to the museum.
“These programs are really important because they give kids something to do when they are out of school and they will kind of support what they’re doing in school. It’s an opportunity for kids to learn while playing which is really the most important way that kids learn,” says impact manager Tom Maynard.
