Grant Me Hope: Harley

Meet Harley, a gentle-hearted young man who loves playing sports and would love to go to a game with a family of his very own.

The family he pictures having spends lots of quality time together.

“I like to spend good quality time and go to football games, basketball games and play sports with them,” he says. “Play board games with them. I am very caring, so I just hope y’all are looking for a kid that is like me.”

This 13-year-old boy especially enjoys basketball and football. But he is also considered artistic, funny and great to be around.

“With my friends I like to play video games and sports, of course,” he says.

What really makes Harley happy are funny videos and the chance he has to receive a lot of love from the family that will take him home.

“If I had a wish, I’d stay young forever try new stuff every day,” he says.

Math and science are his favorite school subjects, prompting him to dream of becoming an engineer when he grows up—and warring with his desire to also play for the NBA.

If you want to make Harley’s favorite foods all in one meal, that dinner would be an interesting combo of ribs, pizza and salads.

Grant Me Hope is a collaboration between WWTV, Michigan Adoption Resource Exchange and the business community — all working together to find foster children a forever home.
