Traverse City Track Club: Spring Training Program for Beginner, Veteran Runners

Those aspiring to run a race in the new year don’t need to train alone. 

The has weekly fun runs where you can choose your distance, pace and run for free. And if that’s not enough to motivate you, the TC Track Club’s will meet for organized runs on Saturdays at 8 a.m.

You can sign up to prepare for the club’s Bayshore marathon, half marathon or 10K in May.

This training program has multiple skill levels based on your ability—so beginners and veterans alike can join in. Training begins on Jan. 21, and it’s highly recommended that those interested in running the full or half marathon sign up for the 18 week program, which is $80.

There is also a 9 week program for $40.
