MTM On The Road: Going Behind-the-Scenes at Goodwill in Traverse City

Shopping at Goodwill can help fund jobs and provide shelter and food for people right here in Northern Michigan.

Many shop for deals at Goodwill stores across the state, but do you know where your donation goes when you drop it off? If you bring clothes, or TV’s or old dishes and computers it has to go somewhere. Sometimes on the store floor for you to buy, sometimes its recycled and sent elsewhere.

The Goodwill Inn in Traverse City also gives temporary housing where residents in transition are able to have a warm meal and a roof over their head for their family. Join our On The Road team as they go behind the scenes and learn how Goodwill is impacting the community.
