Ferris State Football Team Heading to Texas for Division II Championship

The Ferris State Football Team is heading to the national championship game after their 42-25 victory over Minnesota State this weekend.

The football team will head to McKinney, Texas for the Division II title game against Valdosta State.

The Bulldogs are hoping for an undefeated season with 16 wins.

With a win over Valdosta State, Ferris State could be the second university ever to win a national championship in both basketball and football in the same calendar year.

“I love this football team our head coach tony Annese is an offensive genius. The way he runs the spread option.  I think they are awesome,” says freshman Brendan Sanders.

“I have been lucky enough to go to a few games, and I just think it is awesome that our school could win two national championships in the same year,” says freshman Ben Davidson.

The game will be televised this Saturday at 4 p.m. on ESPNU.
