Pearl Harbor Bombing Remembered 77 Yrs. Later

December 7, 1941 – “a date which will live in infamy.”

Friday is Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day.

77 years ago, the Japanese Imperial Navy struck the Pearl Harbor Naval base in Hawaii in a surprise attack.

More than 2,000 Americans died in the bombing.

Many U.S. airplanes and battleships were destroyed.

On December 8th, 1941 the U.S. declared war against Japan and joined World War II.
