Interlochen Summer Arts Camp Providing Day Camp for Young Aspiring Artists

A Northern Michigan arts camp known around the world will soon have more enrollment options.

The Interlochen Summer Arts Camp at the Interlochen Center for the Arts is providing a new day camp program.

Local students will get a 30 percent discount to attend, totaling $450/week.

That includes students in Antrim, Benzie, Grand Traverse, Leelanau, Manistee and Wexford counties.

Trey Devy is the president at Interlochen Center for Arts and he wanted to make this an inspiring opportunity for people in the area.

“We just felt like we need to open the doors and make the experience more accessible to those young people, aspiring, motivated, interested young people in this community who are only 5 or 10 or even 15 miles away from this amazing experience,” says Devy.

The deadline to apply for the summer camp is February 1.
