White House Chief of Staff John Kelly Expected to Resign
After 17 months in the West Wing, Chief of Staff John Kelly is expected to resign.
Kelly’s relationship with President Trump is running thin.
During the summer, President Trump has asked Kelly to stay on as his chief of staff for two more years but the two haven’t spoken in days.
Trump is discussing a replacement plan and potential replacements include Nick Ayer, Vice President Mike Pence’s Chief of Staff.
Kelly’s resignation is not final yet and his replacement will be up to Trump.
