Boil Water Advisory for Parts of Big Rapids
Parts of Big Rapids are under a boil water advisory Tuesday morning.
The Mecosta Emergency Management says its due to a loss of pressure in the Big Rapids water supply in part of the city.
The advisory has been issued to the following areas for the next 48 hours;
- North of Woodward
- North of Chesnut
- North & east of Cypress
The Ferris State Department of Safety says it does affect a part of the university.
The Prakken, Alumni, and West buildings on the campus are advised to boil water.

They are warning people not to drink the water without boiling it first and urging people to use bottled water for drinking.
