If you’re looking for something fun to do this Friday, a Black Friday movement is trying to encourage you to “Opt Outside.”

This could easily become a new Thanksgiving Day tradition, because the Michigan DNR is offering something irresistible—free entrance to state parks, trails and boating access on Friday, Nov. 23.

People across the country are using the #OptOutside movement to burn a few extra calories after the holiday’s mandatory turkey dinner and have some family fun.

You can hike, bike, snowshoe, cross-country ski, fish and hunt on more than 12,500 miles of state designated land and the entrance fee will be waived.
