East Jordan Firefighters Save 5 Dogs From Burning Home

On Monday a fire caused extensive smoke damage at a woman’s East Jordan home but firefighters managed to save what’s most important to her.

East Jordan firefighters were able to rescue the woman’s five dogs, before the fire spread and destroyed her kitchen.

Monday morning Trina Bos went to the store and when she came back she noticed smoke billowing out her home.

She went in and called for her dogs but they wouldn’t come out, she then called 911.

Firefighters from the East Jordan Fire Department charged in saving her three American bulldogs and two Chihuahuas.

She says she’s beyond thankful for their response.

“I just want to thank them very much for saving my dogs, because I wouldn’t have them if it wasn’t for them,” Trina, said.

The cause of the fire is still unknown.

Trina says she does have insurance.
