State Finds ‘No Serious Violations’ of 43 Detroit Funeral Homes

The state says it did not find any serious violations after inspecting 43 funeral homes in Detroit.

Licensing And Regulatory Affairs say they were looking for mortuary science or pre-paid funeral violations.

It follows discoveries last month in Detroit.

The remains of 63 fetuses were found at the Perry Funeral Home.

Ten fetuses and a full-term infant were found at the Cantrell Funeral Home.

Both of those are being investigated by police.
