What’s Happening in Northern Michigan: Celebrating Thanksgiving
We’re moving into the holiday season!
Courtney Sheffer with the West Michigan Tourist Association breaks down some of the fun and festive events going on across the area!
If you’re looking for someone else to do the cooking this Thanksgiving, head to Aerie Restaurant & Lounge at the 16th floor of Grand Traverse Resort and Spa.
They’ll be hosting their Thanksgiving Day buffet on November 22 from 11 a.m. until 6 p.m.
With panoramic views of Grand Traverse Bay, Aerie Restaurant & Lounge has always been a one-of-a-kind dining experience.
Start Thanksgiving morning with the 14th annual Turkey Vulture Trot 5k run/walk, followed by a traditional Thanksgiving buffet.
They’ll have a Holiday Trail Celebration on Friday, followed by their First Light Celebration where they set Crystal Mountain aglow with twinkling lights for the holidays.
If you’re feeling flustered by the holiday season, Oryana Community Co-Op in Traverse City is hosting a yoga class on Sunday, Nov. 18. Focusing on focus, this class will explore breath work, poses for awareness in the body and mindfulness.
The class will provide the peaceful and safe space needed to loosen your grip on the “everything else” and deepen into the present moment.
The yoga class will take place at New Moon Yoga Studio.
