Stone House Bread Partners With the Father Fred Foundation, Bread for Fred

When you head to the grocery store, most people expect to add a loaf of bread to their cart.

Now you can do that and give back.

It’s called “Bread for Fred” for the Father Fred Foundation.

Stone House Bread is baking a special recipe of sour dough with whole grains and selling it at 21 local grocery stores.

They will be donating 50 cents from every loaf to the foundation.

And any bread within the sell by date that hasn’t been sold, will go to the Father Fred Pantry for guests.

“We’re really trying to support our guests to have a great holiday and also it’s the end of the year giving and people are really thinking about wanting to give back,” said advancement manager Elaine Keaton. “I just talked about break bread with family and friends during this holiday time period and also give back.”

The bread will hit store shelves next Monday.
