Sen. Debbie Stabenow Continues Re-Election Campaign in Northern Michigan

Incumbent Democratic U.S. Senator Debbie Stabenow continued her re-election campaign in northern Michigan on Friday.

She made a stop in her hometown of Clare meeting with voters and talking with them about the importance of getting out to vote on Tuesday.

Stabenow is focusing her campaign around her record on issues like the Great Lakes, farming and health care.

She says she wants to continue focusing on helping small business and improving education opportunities in the state.

“I think this is a time to work across the aisle, this is a time for experience, not just a lot of talk and I get things done every day protecting, the Great Lakes, helping our farmers, our cherry growers our other farmers and local food systems, helping small business and manufacturers,” said Stabenow.

Stabenow says she also wants to work on protecting social security and making sure people don’t lose health insurance coverage for having pre-existing conditions.
