Stocks Take Another Plunge

Investors on Wall Street are bracing for Thursday’s stock market open after a bumpy day.

The Dow dropped by more than 600 points on Wednesday.

The Nasdaq also fell by four percent.

Experts say the slump is mostly the result of a large sell-off of tech and media company stocks.

AT&T is down after reporting weak subscriber numbers.

Amazon and Alphabet, Google’s parent company fell more than five percent.

Both have earnings reports scheduled for Thursday.

Some analysts say this has been fueled in part by panic selling, fears of rising inflation, interest rates, and the U.S., China trade war.
