Plenty of local celebrities are taking the stage on Saturday, all to raise money for the Cadillac Area YMCA.

Our own Anchor Katie Boomgaard has practiced long and hard for this year’s Dancing with the Y. She has until Oct. 13. before she straps on her dancing shoes for the big performance.

Doors open at 6:30 p.m. at the Wexford Civic Arena for wine & beer, cocktails, and dinner.

The YMCA will be using the proceeds to support programs like the 7th grade membership program, the teen center program, and early childhood programs.

They expect to serve over 18,000 healthy meals to youth and children in food risk this year.

They also hoping that more than 800 different youth to use their teen center this school year with a daily average of 40 visits.
