Toyota Recalls Nearly 2.5M Hybrid Vehicles

Toyota is recalling nearly 2.5 million hybrid vehicles across the globe.

The recall affects certain Prius vehicles made between October 2008 and November of 2014.

In the U.S., it covers more than 800,000 vehicles, including the 2010 through 2014 Prius, and the larger model year 2012 through 2014 Prius V.

Toyota says a system flaw could cause vehicles to lose power and stall.
