Gov. Snyder Issues Executive Directive to Develop PFAS Readiness, Response Plan

Governor Rick Snyder is making more strides to protect Michigan’s drinking water.

Tuesday he issued an executive directive to develop a PFAS readiness and response plan in the state.

Under the directive, the Michigan PFAS Action Response Team, or MPART, will work with federal, state and local organizations to put together a plan.

Governor Snyder says the goal is to ensure a timely response by government officials when any PFAS contamination is discovered.
