Local guys are supporting women with breast cancer—with bras.
Not all fundraisers are created equal, and there’s a pretty special one coming up for breast cancer awareness month.
is back again at the Streeters Center in Traverse City. On Oct. 12, male models will be wearing custom-designed bras and costumes put together by sponsors.
The bras will be sold along with “padding,” which are other silent auction items.
Bras for a Cause TC President Taylor Webb says they are in need of more big donations for the silent auction, and any monetary donations are appreciated as well.
Proceeds go towards the Women’s Council of Realtors and Munson Healthcare Breast Care Assistance Fund. Doors open at the Streeters Center in Traverse City at 5:30 p.m., and the show starts at 7 p.m. on Oct. 12.
