President Trump Signs $854B Spending Bill

President Donald Trump has signed an $854 billion spending bill to keep the federal government open through Dec. 7.

According to a White House official, President Trump signed the legislation privately on Friday to fund the military and several civilian agencies.

The move comes just days after the House and Senate approved the spending plan.

His signature avoids a government shutdown ahead of the November election, which will determine which political party has control of Congress.
