Fustini’s, Food Rescue of Northwest Michigan Preview ‘One Delicious Decade’

Chef Sam Brickman from Fustini’s in Traverse City and chef and product curator Taylor Moore from Food Rescue stopped by the 9&10 kitchen to share some recipes and preview their event Wednesday night.

Fustini’s Oils and Vinegars and Food Rescue of Northwest Michigan are also celebrating their recent partnership.

Food Rescue of Northern Michigan picks up food from grocery stores and farms that would normally be disposed of but instead they deliver it to local pantries.

Fustini’s has pledged $1 for of every bottle sold since the beginning of June until the end of September to Food Rescue of Northwest Michigan.

There will be a check presentation at the event of about $20,000.

Fustini’s will offer some of their famous oil and vinegar’s to be sold.

The event will be held in downtown Traverse City and will have a major impact on families in the Grand Traverse area community.

The event will also show the new Fresh Take grab and go lunch menu at the Traverse City location.
