Supreme Court Nominee Kavanaugh Defends Himself Against Sexual Misconduct Allegations

Supreme Court Brett Kavanaugh is speaking out and defending himself against the sexual misconduct allegations.

“I’ve never sexually assaulted anyone. Not in high school, not ever,” he says.

Two women have come forward accusing him of inappropriate behavior.

Deborah Ramirez says he exposed himself to her at a party when they were in college.

Christine Blasey Ford says he held her down and groped her in high school.

“I am not questioning and have not questioned that perhaps Dr. Ford at some point in her life was sexually assaulted by someone at some place, but what I know is I’ve never sexually assaulted anyone.”

Kavanaugh and Ford are set to be interviewed by the Senate on Thursday.

GOP leaders are promising a quick vote on Kavanaugh after the hearing.

President Trump says he stands by his nominee calling the allegations “totally political.”
