UPDATE: Suspect in Deadly Maryland Shooting Dies

A horrifying scene in a small Maryland town north of Baltimore after a woman opened fire, leaving three people dead and three people injured before she turned the gun on herself.

It happened Thursday morning at a Rite Aid distribution center in Aberdeen.

Investigators say the woman used a handgun in the attack.

Victims were taken to area hospitals, others to Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center in Baltimore.

Local law enforcement say the suspect was also taken to the hospital in critical condition after she shot herself in the head. We’re now learning she has died.

Other details, including a motive, are still unclear as the investigation is still in its very early stages.

However, local law enforcement do say the suspect was a temporary employee at the Rite Aid distribution center.
