Grant Me Hope: Dayjah

Dayjah is a high schooler who loves books, music and art and dreams of becoming a Central Michigan University Chippewa.

But something else she would love is a family all her own.

“I just want a forever home,” she says. “A family that actually wants me in their home and takes me as their own kid.”

You might have read some of the books Dayjah likes, including “The Babysitters Club” and “Goosebumps,” or seen her favorite movie, “Beetlejuice.”

Dayjah likes kids and wants to do what “normal families do” like shop, watch movies, and have parents that go to her basketball games to cheer on her and the team.

Coming up on September 22, you can be part of a fundraiser to help Grant Me Hope continue its mission. For more information on the event, see the flyer below.

Grant Me Hope is a collaboration between WWTV, Michigan Adoption Resource Exchange and the business community — all working together to find foster children a forever home.
