Man Who Admitted to Petoskey Staged Robbery Awaits Court Sentence

A man who admitted to staging a robbery in Petoskey is expected to learn his punishment Tuesday.

Investigators say Don Eisenhardt walked into West Brook Recovery Center with a gun back in May.

A worker there, Christine Adams, told police Eisenhardt made off with a $1,000.

Police later discovered the robbery was staged and they found a car in Buckley linked to Adams and Eisenhardt.

Last month Adams pleaded guilty to embezzlement and lying to police.

Eisenhardt took a plea deal admitting to a charge of “conspiracy to embezzle.”

He is expected to be sentenced Tuesday and we’ll be sure to keep you updated.
