Fiat Chrysler Recalling Nearly 209,000 Minivans, SUVs for Brake Issue

Fiat Chrysler is recalling nearly 209,000 minivans and SUVs worldwide over a brake issue causing longer stopping distances.

The recall covers the 2018 Dodge Journey, 2019 Jeep Cherokee and the 2018 and 2019 Dodge Grand Caravan and Jeep Compass.

The company says part of the brake system is allowing gas bubbles to form in the brake fluid.

So far no one crashes or injuries have been reported.

Fiat Chrysler says car dealers will replace the brake fluid which will solve the problem.
