STING Detectives Arrest Man in Connection to 2016 Overdose Death

Detectives with the Strike Team Investigative Narcotics Group, or STING, arrested a Saginaw man accused of being linked to an overdose death in Northern Michigan.

An investigation began in December of 2016 when detectives say a man died after overdosing on heroin laced with fentanyl in Roscommon County.

After almost two years, the investigation led detectives to Adrian Williams.

Williams was arrested Thursday and charged with delivery of heroin causing death and being a four-time habitual offender.

He’s now being held in the Saginaw County Jail.
