Your footwear could change your performance in your workout, as well as save you from some serious injuries.
Dr. Kristopher Krannitz from Advanced Foot and Ankle Center in Cadillac has some suggestions.
He recommends looking at the direction of the tread, suggestion that it should face forward in a running shoe and criss crossed in a weight lifting shoe.
He also says that there should be a sufficient level of support to avoid injury, and that orthotics could be purchased over the counter or from a podiatrist.
