Larry Nassar’s Appeal to Get New Judge on Case Dismissed

Larry Nassar’s appeal to get a new judge on his case has been dismissed.

A different Ingham County Circuit Court judge ruled Tuesday that judge Rosemarie Aquilina will still preside over Nassar’s case.

Larry Nassar’s lawyers accused her of bias, saying he deserves another hearing.

At sentencing, Aquilina said Nassar deserved cruel punishment if the Constitution would allow it.

Larry Nassar took plea deals in November in both Ingham and Eaton counties, and was sentenced to 40 to 175 years in prison.

He’s appealing his sentence in Eaton and Ingham counties.
